Who We Are

Founded in May 2019, the THRIVE for Life Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to raising funds in support of the Penn State Cancer Institute, CARE (Cancer Assistance and Resource Education) Center formerly known as the Patient Services HUB and its whole person care initiatives. What We Do

The THRIVE for Life Foundation hosts a number of fundraising events, including its signature event, Croquet for Cancer, a tournament being held on October 2, 2021 on the front lawn of  Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. All event proceeds are directed to the CARE Center in support of its whole person care initiatives.

3rd  Annual Poker Run – August 28, 2021

Join us for this inaugural fundraising event to help adults diagnosed with cancer.

90 teams (two players per team) are being recruited by General Managers. Each team will compete on the croquet court as well as to raise funds for Penn State Cancer Institute’s whole person care initiatives. Two Croquet for Cancer Cups will be awarded – one to the winning croquet team and the other to the team that raises the most funds!

Team Fundraising Goal:

$500.00 or more… the sky’s the limit!

Event Overall Fundraising Goal:

$50,000 or more… help us knock it out of the court!

Proceeds will be donated to the Penn State Cancer Institute CARE Center to support its comprehensive, patient—and family—centered, whole person care initiatives.
